From Scrap To Art: Recycled Collage Workshop at the Sandy Spring Museum

"Exhibiting artist Sonya Michel will lead participants in creating two-dimensional collages and three-dimensional pieces from discarded materials while exploring color, form, texture, and themes such as sustainability and recycling.
This intergenerational program is designed for elementary age children to adults (adults should plan on working with their youngster). Wooden panels and various recycled materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to collect and bring whatever bits of paper, cardboard, plastic and flat metals that catch their eyes from their own collection."
